The University of Oregon's department page for Planning, Public Policy & Management (PPPM) needed some serious help. Most of the links and images were broken in the hundreds of static HTML pages they had. As a class project and as my first major web project, I was asked to clean-up the whole mess.
Solution:
I discovered BBEdit and multi-file search and replace, using regular expressions (grep), which made it possible to bring sanity back to this disaster. I fixed all of the links and images, gave each page consistent navigation, and reformatted all the existing content.
