Oregon Social Learning Center (OSLC)

Description:

Oregon Social Learning Center Community Programs (OCP) had an existing web-based data entry and reporting system that was too slow and too difficult to manage. The case manager reports took minutes to generate, the administrators could not easily manage the data, and the user interface was not intuitive.

Solution:

WebPDR I rebuilt the entire system including hardware and software. I recommended a new server with mirrored drives and RedHat 9. We used ColdFusion for the application software and moved all the data to a more recent version of PostgreSQL. The user interface was completely re-designed to be simple, easy to use, and intuitive. The time to generate a report was reduced from minutes to one or two seconds. Case managers can now manage the data and the users. We also employed 128-bit SSL encryption for security and to comply with HIPPA standards. We have had essentially zero post-launch issue to address, which is impressive for a system re-design of this complexity.

Since this is a secured system, I've provided some screen shots with sensitive information blurred for privacy.
